My Approach

Drawing on over 25 years of experience as a professional counsellor, have helped individuals, families and couples manage stress, recover from trauma and addictions, improve health/wellness and restore loving relationships.

My collaborative approach draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with a focus on your personal goals.  I promote healthy living as part of a wellness plan.  For those who are interested, I can incorporate mindfulness techniques to compliment counselling sessions.

Collaboration with other health care professionals (including your primary care provider) may be advised.

I use a collaborative approach in counselling to help individuals, couples and families who are seeking help. Using a compassionate cognitive behavioural approach (CBT), our initial sessions will focus on assessing your needs and setting goals for success. I incorporate mindfulness practices with CBT for clients who are interested in this complimentary approach.
